| Matt is a highly successful, professional freeskier for over ten years. Seven times around the globe, working with international sponsors - his level is impressive. Born in the U.S.A in Louisiana, residing in Chamonix, France for five years performing as a skier and contributing music in various sports film and video productions such as "La Nuit de la Glisse" from French filmmaker Thierry Donard as well as in numerous Red Bull productions. He has cooperated with Teton Gravity Research and Warren Miller in the U.S and appeared in 25 TV shows for Washhouse Films in the U.K., airing worldwide, just to mention a few. Besides his skiing career writing and performing music always remains his biggest passion in life. Together with producer and guitarist Joern Kachelriess in 2003 he self-released his debut album Free From Code, featuring "Further", as heard in numerous sports film productions as well as "Elevation" the title track for Matt's 3rd "Nuit de la Glisse" appearence. |
